You can rebuild your engine and give it higher compression for 2000+ bucks or you can add some spray for about 300 bucks. Those are your only two options besides getting a different car

You dont need all these aftermarket parts to do a decent N/A build, most of the d motors have interchangable parts, all d's have 75mm bore so simply taking pistons from one to another can raise CR (example: d16A1 pistons in a D16A6 gives 10.7:1 CR) d cranks can survive close to 600hp , d rods will take 200hp, so for an N/A build i would just do the research and see what OEM internals u can use to reach your goals. then after your build you throw a good FPR, CAI, Header, and an exhaust, maybe a bigger cam and adj gear, nothin radical just a street grind. i dont think u will have any probs reaching your 30-60 bhp goals, and congrats to anyone doing a non vtec N/A build!!!! I'll help out anyway i can.

I use an msd cap, rotor, and external coil, and am now runnin 58lbs W O T , so yea the msd setup worked well for me, where i was runnin real rich at 58, it leaned it out and has better throttle responce. if your going to change the clutch get a light weight flywheel , i run a 8lbs flywheel, a stage 3 6 puck clutch and presssure plate and i love it, but it takes some getting used too. as far as a mini me, research it and decide if it is worth doing to meet your goals

I like the fact that they r cheaper than most, i had them do a zif and pm7 maps on a 91 PM6, was very pleased with them, had my ECU back in a week! there r alot of company's that u can use. I prefer Xenocron.

i would start at 30 and slowly raise based on throttle response,if u get too rich it will bog down and blow smoke, stock 240,s can only handle around 70+ -(seen some run great at 75 and seen some fall on there face at 60), A/F gauge would help u out for tuning the fuel pressure, when u get it where u like pull the plugs 2 see if your gettin a good burn. i have gotten good results from msd setup and 1 heat range hotter plugs @58lbs. WOT but i run 11.5:1 C.R. and tuned timing, i dont care much for the stock coils. too really take advantage of the f.p.r u will need too beef up the ignition

No dint end up getting the ecu so no ecu upgrades yet, i am still deciding on phearable or hondata s300... i just wanted to know if the s300 can work on my non vtec engine (d15z4) and where to buy it from and if possible there is a stand alone hondata already chipped and wired odb2 ecu
