Ok so its not a b series build but here goes. I bought a 91 crx after my integra was stolen. I recently bought 1st gen integra pistons, a DA teg throttle body and DA injectors. Looking for 135 whp with a eBay header and a new hks exhaust. Sorry to say this guys this is just until I get everything fixed body and interior wise then im going b16.

In my opinion (and personal experience) the CRX is the only honda car that a B16 runs good in. Everything else is too damn heavy.

Why even waste money on the D series then? the B16 will make 130 or better to the wheels... with simple bolt ons. And they love to be boosted...

The d16 build will make it fun for now and more reliable. Idk for some reason when the car is hot it won't turn on, no spark no nothing. Plus this whole thing is only running me like 400 bucks not including the 100 for parts.

I changed the main relay and it still does that.

All right new idea, since my brother did a b16 swap into his 90 integra his motor is just sitting around at my friends house. Because he gave it to my friend in exchange for the labor. I was thinking of doing a mild build with all new gaskets and hoses and some new 82mm b16 pistons. That would make it like a big 1.8 or a 1.9 liter. Then I would just work off of that.

82mm b16 slugs will not change the displacement that much. not to mention, OEM b16 cast pistons don't come in 82mm. As a matter of fact if you did bore to 82mm it would be a 1.878L engine... Clost to a 1.9, but not quite.

83mm would net you a 1.924L. But then you might as well just buy a stock B20. I think @ 83mm you'd be better of sleeving the LS block or buying a B20Z

They are over sized to 82mm and it doesn't cost any more money to bore the block to 82mm. The block needs a bore anyways so why not go big?

I wasn't knocking the boring, I was just saying boring to 82 will not net you a 1.9...

I know I just figured even though it wouldn't help too much but for no more money I get a bigger motor. Who knows I might pickup like 3 or 4 pound feet of torque.
