im new to the site and had some questions i have a 89 civic hb and wanted to see if a D16A6 is the same as a ZC engine bcus my engine says ZC and i see lots of D16A6 engines and they look very similar to my engine. any feed back will be appreciated.

Yeah Honda made a few ZC motors. The DOHC ZC, the SOHC non Vtec ZC (USDM version is the D16y7) and SOHC Vtec ZC (USDM D16z6/D16y8).

thare are a few the D16A1 dohc non-vtec and D16A6 sohc non-vtec are the oldest and most well known
