can anyone tell me if the d17 will fit into my 95 civic hatch? and can it be converted from throttle body to fuel injected intake system?

i would love to drop a b or even h series in it and had planned on the h22a swap but i got laid of from my job and dont have the funds right now and i found the d17 fairly cheap it was practicly give to me

Yeah, the guy took a d16y8, sleeved it, bored it, had some parts machined down and used the d17 crank and rods and made a 1.8L.

the d17 head uses a different port design and a mpfi manifold wont bolt on and you cant put a d16 head on it becouse the head bolt pattern is not the same and the oil galleys dont line up

in the august 2007 honda tuning mag thare is an article called super-d ware thay put a d17 guts in a d16 block id say this is your best bet
