And no it wont work, its not a direct swap and the only thing you can do is swap the rotating assembly and custom machining will be needed. I posted a link to dseries about a guy that did this.

if your going to put a d16y7 in it thats a OBD2 vtec i think so all OBD2 vtec ecu sould work if your going to use the obd2 wireing haris use the stock d16 ecu to start and wen you want more chip it or an teg LS vtec or a IS ecu sould work
