Well...larger displacement, around double the boost pressure, AWD with limited slip, 6-speed tranny...that's all before any "light" mods. At least you can take comfort in knowing he paid like $35K plus the mods...

I poked around and saw some dude with one modded more heavily, putting down over 400hp running 11.3, it appeared to be in full street trim. You never want to come up on that sleeper and try revving! That's hardcore enough to beat a C6 Z06.

Evos are bad ass cars, proof to all car enthusiasts that 4 bangers can hang with just about anything. If i could afford one i would have one 2morrow. you wanna know about EVO's just google AMS Motorsports!! they build the badest EVO's i have ever seen.

i just read an article about WOT top speed runs...

had a 94 Evo 2 which runs 9.70 in the 1/4 @ 22psi.
i would imagine a new evo would be a better platform.

YEp...it is hard to beat that AWD traction. I had a AWD turbo talon for a while. It was a POS but it was fun!

i'm more of a subaru guy, but after driving an EVO8 i think i might be changed. their power delivery is so good and linear unless you have a seriously bad ass front driver(and i'm not saying your's aint)but i can't see a win there on the street or track.
