*death metal growl*BAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM!!!!!!

long story short: i got the center console from a buddy, but bare. i then remembered that remoer from d-series.org had a console, but rhd. so a pound of coffee grains and tamarind fruits later i got remo's and fixed this one.

the aem gauge is just put there but not connected yet.

btw, i'm looking for an ashtray from a 88-91 prelude. it's the same one the center console have.

not bad:

much better!:

90 civic Si seats. guy was asking $150, i talked it down to $80 but paid $60 after my jedi hand trick lol. seats were nasty dirty, hence the final price. after a seat pan swap and a much needed clean here they are. so far i love them! they're almost in mint condition!

only thing is that the recliners face the opposite direction, but i read a write-up on h-t on using the old seats recliners, so i saved the uppers and work on that swap whenever possible.

so....

Image

swapped the 88-89 recliner to the seats :)

it isn't difficult to do, it just take time. there's a write-up on h-t about it, but basically what you do is take the recliner mechanism from the 88-89 seats and put them in the 90-91, so the recliner handle goes back to its properly place and the seat swap looks cleaner and in timeline spec.

passenger side is done, but when i started working on the driver side the cable broke, so i had to stop there. :(

so if anyone have a spare cable laying around let me know, i'll buy it.

please don't mind the dirt, it's gonna be vaccumed away. :)

a couple pics of stuff done today just for shit and giggles.

just finished detailing the engine bay:

Image

also the interior:

Image

new stereo. the previous one wasn't cutting it.

Image

also got new falkens for the front.

funny thing is that the hatch is so slammed that the store refused to do an alignment. to be honest, it is so low that it doesn't clear the ramp lol.

also i've found out that i will need to replace the wheel bearing and terminals for the driver side. oh well.

as promised a couple weeks ago, update on the ebrake handle:

Image

is it made out of wood? no. it has been leather wrapped.

almost perfect, but not to my satisfaction. stitches weren't supposed to be on top. my fault, though. :(

but my buddy will redo it. :)

well hatch has been down for a while.

something is wrong and i haven't been able to pinpoint it yet, but very much possible is a electrical issue.

all grounds are ok, i've been all over them over and over and they're good.

i'm suspecting a melted wire somewhere in the harness. or the underhood fuse box took a shit (it stinks of burnt at the main fuse).

main relay is in perfect condition. fuel pump primes like a champ.

today i converted the ignition setup back to oem, and swapped another underhood fusebox in hopes that this was needed for the hatch to start.

it didn't.

so, after a long talk with onatop (melchor), we came to the conclusion that the injectors aren't firing. it reeks of gas, but i checked the spark plugs and they are dry. it can't be the ecu, since it still does the same when swapped with another unit i have laying around. it is either a ground or the top center sensor from the dizzy is fried.

anyway melchor described me a test to measure the main relay and make sure it is in working order independently if clicking correctly. test will be done tomorrow and i'll report back.
