hey since ive gotten my rex, ive been looking and a lot of ppl have done "homemade" turbo kits. Ive been on homemadeturbo.com and have a lot of info...just wondering if anyone on this site has any experience with doing that kind of a setup...by d16a6 did 180-185psi in all 4 cyclinders so its fine for turbo...prolly going to run around 7 psi

I have experience in fab. turbo kits. If your gonna run 7 psi then you should be fine. Make sure to get it tune.

What kind of info are you looking for I have a boosted A6 been driving it for a year low boost 13psi on a 57trim ask away Ill see if I can help you out. And there are far better programs out there than the S300. Ectune and Neptune but I would suggest you find a tuner first and find out what they use and go from there

You could do this for a very reasonable price depending on what kind of turbo you where looking for. Or even a used greddy kit would make it that much more easier and its actually a nice kit and will put down decent power.

Cast log
straight t3
Dp
IC/piping kits with couplers
oil inlet/return kit
boost gauge
Slim fan if you dont have one
conversion harness
ob1 ecu
d15 obd1 dizzy P/N td41u
conversion plug for dizzy but there pretty easy to make takes about 15min

But since this is a stock motor if you dont want to go obd1 you can chip your PM6 and run turbo edit and tune it yourself it really isnt that hard. And the knowledge you can gain from tuning your own car is priceless for sure. This is a start hope it helped you out a bit if need be I have a few pic of mine for visual reference. :livre
