of a swapped 97 Civic (EK)? The short intake is the one on some of the jdm engine sellers websites.

Or do I need to at least buy a LS intake or comparable?

b20b with a short intake? afaik b20s use a tall intake manifold, as known as the "giraffe". no, that intake will not clear the hood on your ride.

use a ls intake mani or go aftermarket. or if you're handy you can fit a b16 intake mani in your ls head. warning: hacking is necessary in order to do so.

This one shows it has a short intake...I'm not sure how short or what it's off of either but this one's advertised as a short intake

Odd looking air box on the top of that one and ya thats sheer is a short intake the reason deddth says that is because the B20B/Z is normally found in CR-Vs that have a higher hood so thay put a taller intake on them witch dont clear the hood on the Civic/Integra if the (ZE) was used in a different kind of car in Japan that would be why that one has a shorter intake but you may wont a LS intake anyway cuz that air box thats bolted to the top of the intake may give you problems down the road...

But the standard B20 swap stuff besides the trans and what not is:

Short LS intake manifold
94-01 Integra oil pan
94-01 Integra oil pick up

Great info thanks! Has anyone on here done the swap with an automatic in an EK Civic? I would love to see a put together parts list so I can order the parts ahead of time. Regardless I'm paying a local shop that's done it before so I just plan on supplying them with the engine and transmission but I figure if I could track parts down on craigslist or at a junk yard I could save quite a bit of money.
