First off I have a fully built n/a b18a built by a race shop in CA.
B18a
Rebuilt stock tranny with carbon mesh synchro's
403's w tr and dv sp
pnp, bigger valves flowbench tested for max air flow
rc 310cc injectors w stock fuel pump
stage 2 clutch
exedy lighted flywheel
12.1 comp arias pistons
cold air intake
megan header
rs-r catback exhuast no cat(testpipe)
sk2 intake manifold and sk2 68mm tb
fully tuned with hondata s200 on the street and dyno.

Okay my problem is when I dyneod my car it only made 150whp and 121tq to the wheels, but it doesn't make sense that my hp tops out at my rev limiter which is 7500. Here is the dyno graph http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t283/joe77_photo/?action=view&current=scan0005.jpg. Is it okay or is there something wrong. The car drives fine it's just my power band is at like 4.5 grand. Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Thanks

Nice build, but there's a few things holding your power back:

- Switch 403 for some 404's
- Header, go with a Tri-Y design
- Exhaust, go with 2.5" mandrel bent piping.
- Intake, go with 3" Cold air

Get those, retune it with 8K redline. You should see another 15-25WHP more than what you have now.

I made 157WHP on a stock block with messed up TPS, lol.

sorry the exhuast is already 2.5 all the way from the header to exhaust. And I'm already using 3 inch pipe on the cai. It'll be really hard to get the car to idle with 404's when it's really cold.

um well the 403's can make decent power on an engine like yours but they really arent great for top end. i wouldnt hesitate to try 404's on that motor. i daily my integra and i live in the northeast so i wouldnt worry too much about the cold.

but i would say there is more potential in that motor. more tuning, especially cam gear tuning might be needed.

i cant view your dyno here at work though so im guessing.

I think 404's are okay, but ITB'S are a little too drastic for a daily driver. But would more tuning bring my power ban down any right now.

Well after looking at your graph, I'm thinking the tuner was working on smoothing out the power band as much as possible. Notice the slight wave in your toque matches almost exactly to the waves in your A/f ratio reading. Normally you'd want to torque to be as linear as humanly possible.

I dont see anything wrong with it though. You have to keep in mind honda high rev engines. They arent going to develope that much torque, so the rpm's are what makes the power for us. I say let it breath raise the limiter and let her rip once or twice. If you go with a 404 I would imagine your power band is going to continue to climb up in the rev range.

Verry nice by the way, It looks like its a clean strong runner.
