Is anyone running a dohc zc with ntrous? If so how much are you running? Do you like it? Can you tell a big difference?

well i mean nitrous is really fun...with a ZC i wouldnt go higher than a 55 shot

What do you recommend doing before I spray a 55 shot?

colder plugs, get something that can retard the timing a little bit, and either get a wet kit or a zex kit so you can get additional fuel into the motor to compensate for the nitrous

Well I got a zex kit on it and I also have a fuel pressure regulator with fuel turned up a bit on it. What plugs do I need to run? Honestly to do you think it will blow with a 55 shot?

do a compression test to see what the psi in each cylinder is..

get NGK BKR7-E plugs...and replace them every 30lbs of nitrous or so that you go through

Is the "NGK BKR7-E" plugs ok to run all the time? i am just gonna use the juice a couple of times a year at the track. Not more than a 10lb bottle in a year. What elso do you recommend?

well those plugs are one heat range closer...just buy a set of each and when you do nitrous put in the originals

Those are the correct spark plugs, you can also use that for turbo app. We installed a nx wet kit on a dohc, customer wanted 75 shots, and it's been 6 months now and he's still running.

Why do you say that? How much do you know on the dohc zc?

IMO if your going to run nitrous get a tune and do it right the first time, Just like everything else when it comes to adding forced power to a motor.

cuz stock d-series motors cant handle much, and since not a lot of ppl get a tune with a stock motor, i was limiting it to a 55 shot

yea go ahead and spray it on a 100 shot and then we will see who is crying when there motor blows up lol...im j/p

a 100shot on a I4 is a little much for first time nitrous users. anything over a 75 shot on a stock motor you either have huge balls and don't care if your motor blows or you know what your doing.

yea definately... i would say a 75 shot i basically the limit of a stock d series motor
