a buddy is installing an ITR lump into his 91 civic hatch. i told him he will need to do something about his brake situation. i figure to use a corresponding year integras discs all round. is as simple as useing the rear trailing arms w/ brakes and front knuckles w/ brakes? this will be my first swap of this nature. :?:

Yes that is all you need to swap. It is highly advised to also swap out the proportioning valve of the same yr Integra in order to keep the brake bias correct. Hope this helps.

It wouldn't hurt. Probably help a lil. But it isn't absolutely necessary.

thanks so much for posting that site. i've never done this before, so i've been a little worried about it. lucky for me i have you guys at my back. the swap is done now and all we have to do is install the brand new koyo rad (1/2 size) and the trans mount. which we are waiting to come in from hasport. i didn't know it but someone makes a dope a$$ piece to mate the cable for the old trans to the new LSD hydro trans. and it is sexy. once it gets delivered to my house i can finally start my part of the job. OFF TOPIC does $300 sound good for a '00 civic Si motor and trans? i just want the trans for my car and i plan to fix and sell the long block.

A master cylinder brace, braided brake lines and some nice rotors and pads will help alot too.

yea i've been looking for a brace. as for rotors i'm not sure if i'll go with oem size brembo's or powerslot. and prolly hawk pads. and definately the lines too. i think i'll go with russel since they are coated. i don't like the fact that goodridge lines don't have a protective coating on them. besides i'm spending someone else's money. and its not my car.
