hows it goin, im jason, and obviously im new here.
I have an 88 dx hatch with a jdm 98 B18b1 all motor, 92 ls 5 spd,
and full front end 92 ls swap except the body.
i'm dropped on some decent adjustables,
sway for the motor bay and back seat,
gutted on 14" steelies
im here to learn cause of the fact i dont want vtech, i want to learn to boost. mhmm...
so far i took a new camaro, unsure of what his motor was,
and an 87 SS monte with a crate 383 stroker who was very upset.
if anyone has any info on how i could build for a reliable boost and start eatin some sti's. please, talk to me.
good to be here,
Jas :yahoo

My 98 civic with 99 B18b1 swap gets about 30mpg (IHE and tune w/ Hondata). So you want to boost. The stock bottom end can take 250whp. If you plan to hit higher numbers or want more reliablity then build the bottom end. Forged pistons and rods, ARP main bolts and head studs will hold all the boost you want. You can keep stock compression, lower it for high boost or raise it (like 10 to 1) for a very resonsive turbo motor but will need more extensive tuning. 550cc injectors, 250lph fuel pump Hondata w/ tune will take care of fueling the fire.
