Well im going to pick up my car next week. I wanna build the engine ASAP. I was wondering with a B18b1 if i up the compression to like 9.5-10:1 would i have to tune it? Im looking into turbo later on. Just something i can drive until then. I dont wanna drop it down to 9.0. I plan on running 7-10PSI street/strip.

I was convinced not to go with a supercharger. Also saw dyno sheets.

9.5:1-10.1:1 compression ratio is fine, however tune it so it will run properly.

I was going with a rev hard kit. The way it come looks like there is no need for fuel management why is that?

You always need some sort of fuel management when boosting a car. Any car.

If you're adding more air without adding more fuel or adjusting ignition settings you're asking for trouble.

That's really all there is to it.

As far as what brand to go with... I suggest Hondata as well. Although I know a couple people running Neptune and they've had awesome experience with it.

Lastly as for bumping the compression yea, you'll need to tune to take advantage of the added compression otherwise in my opinion its a waste of money.

fmu is a fuel management unit. Fuel management unit is designed to increase the fuel pressure as the pressure in the intake manifold increases. But if your planning on running 450cc and up injectors than you won't need it. If your planning on running higher cc injectors than get a ignition system. Get it tune. With Boost app, be sure to use ngk bcpr7es-11 spark plugs.
