Hey guys, just bought an '87 1g integra with the stock DOHC D16A1.
Would it be worth the the trouble to swap the DOHC ZC into it? Is that a straight bolt in swap?
I'm aware that DOHC ZC's can be picked up cheaply, and give about 130hp compared to the 113hp from the D16A1.
Any thoughts?

should be a direct bolt in.

Would that be the bowntop or blacktop DOHC ZC i'm looking for? Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is worth doing?

black top, make sure it's stamp zc on the block.

Don't know if it interests you but Hasport makes a B-series mount kit. We have a local guy thats rocking a B20Z in his and its pretty wicked. I however say keep the lower compression D16A and take the money you would have spent on a ZC to buy a turbo kit. Honda-tuning Magazine had a write up on that particular combination and titled it "Cheap Speed". If you're still interested in a ZC then PM me I have a fully built ZC head I'm not using.
