I have a 89 civic dx and i have found a 92 integra that has a non vtech engine i think. My question is will this be a good swap for my civic.

You need to ask yourself whats your budget and how much horsepower do your want to get from your engine. A B18 integra engine is a very capable engine for doing an NA build or turbo. You can also build up your d series engine by changing the internals and head. Its up to you and your budget. Read up on some of the posts in this forums to get the pros and cons of each.

i did a 91 integra ls swap into my 90 dx sedan. i love it. this is the motor that honda should have done. my suggestion is to get a kit from hasport or someone else who you can get the mounts and wiring from. you can look to spend around 2gs including engine. i got the entire car for less then just the engine and trany.now i'm swaping over susp. parts.yes you can tubo the d motor or mini-me it prob for less,but with out a major build you won't get near the same as you would a b motor.
