Currently i have a 2.5inch exhaust with a test pipe and a resonator and a 4inch tip muffler..but i have a big crack in my exhaust so i plan on replacing it... Is it a good idea to get 2.25inch piping straight pipe with the 4inch tip muffler..with no test pipe and no resonator... i kno it will be loud but i just want to kno how would it effect the engines performance??

it would prolly increase torque a lil and loose a lil bit horsepower...i have a feeling though (depending on ur setup) that the car will feel a lil bit more responsive cuz 2.5 in piping with really no back pressure hurts horsepower

It won't hurt the performance in a noticable way. It might take very little hp away but nothing to be worried about.
