I am going to a muffler shop to have them do a catback exhaust for me.

I am thinking that I want to do a straight-pipe to a nice preformance aftermarket muffler, (resonator). Similar in looks to

My buddy told me that it would sound better with one or two glass packs, thrown onto it, then the muffler.

The car is a 93 2-dr. Y'all got any opinions on the exhaust notes of this car?

Its definitely a cheaper way to go. Glass packs sound nice but very loud. Make sure you are in a state where cops don't trip on the noise. If you are planning to delete your cat, don't use them though, they will make your exhaust sound raspy. Im surprised more people dont go this route. Go to youtube and check out some sound clips. Glass packs are also known as cherry bombs fyi.
