Well I am at a stop here. I was planning on gettin Crome but it seems like Jon is no longer developing it. I don't want to get it and have it become outdated. What are some things you guys are using or have heard about.

even if jon isn't developing crome anymore its still an awesome program . . . I've run my best times using that software and have personally tuned many cars w/ it with no problems at all.

AEM is awesome as is hondata but both are costly (especially AEM) and i feel that AEM has TOO many features . . . i guess it depends on what you're using it for . . . i like to load up a basemap in crome, starte the car, and drive . . . I've heard AEM is much more complicated.

I love everything about my Neptune.

Great product and even better customer support.

Awesome. I bet that blue tooth is pretty nice. I ended up picking up Crome pro. So far I am loving it!

how is crome going to become outdated? are there new features on your engine that are coming out? are you getting i-vtec put in or sumthing?

if you can get crome working with real time programing and auto tune its an awsome setup. all you have to do to tune the car is drive....

If you are meaning this statement towards me I thought it was no longer in development. I emailed Jon a few times and never got a reply from him but I later found out through pgmfi that things are still rolling with the program.

There is a free version but it does not have as many features as pro (datalogging, real time programming). pro is the only go

I love my AEM and yes it does have alot of features, but in the hands of a capable tuner its amazing. I had a friend that decided to see what he could do with it. He took a stock D16Z6 and turbo'd it. Then he tuned it with an AEM on 12 pounds. Everyone know the limits on a single cam are pretty small, like around 200HP before the rods give out. It made 256 HP and 212 Lbs/ft of torque and ran for three years. He had another built motor and was certain the other one would pop and in the end he had to buy another shell for his built motor because he said the other one was just too reliable to tear down. He ended up selling it and the guy he sold it to took the AEM off and sold it on eBay. Then he used a chipped ECU and crome to tune it on the same power. 8 Months later it came apart. Not to knock crome, I used it on a single cam project too, but be careful because it doesn't have the safety features the AEM has(Boost cut,Fuel cut, VSS cut).

Dunno about that . . .

Here is a screenshot of my crome program:

Image

The Boost Limit (boost cut), Rev Limit (fuel cut), and Speed Limitter (VSS cut) are all there and I have used all of them successfully (well except I haven't used the VSS cut cuz no one I've tuned for wants a speed limitter, would you?).
