 Post subject: all motor b20 DA with p8r head

so this sunday i went out to the auto cross and was doing very well but due to not having a baffel i believe i got oil starvation and spun a bearing.....again :cry: so now i have dicided im going to actually do a semi built motor. the list that im thinking about doing is
p8r head- picking up tommorow
b20b block which i should probably get honed, any coments would be nice about that.
crower springs and retainers
i have crower 402's right now but im thinking of going to 403
rs machine type R pistons for 84mm bore
arp rod bolts
and will most likely need injectors so some sort of rc's would be the way to go
any comments would be nice regarding if im forgetting something or what would be a better part to put in
also i will have pics of the motor posted soon

sounds like a solid build. if your bumping the compression, go with the 403's. better bang for the buck!

Nice build, looks like you really did your homework.

For the record, p75 head has an 81mm combustion chamber.
The p8r head has an 84mm diameter and 33mm valves (which are hard to find).

this company makes p8r valves which are about 2mm shorter than vtec valves:
