ok so i go to work. as normal i gocheck the po box get breakfast, and do someclean up out in the shop. my boss then sends me on a errand during wich i start to hear this clunking every time i shift. so im like wtf man, start thinking about the sotrys ie heard on here about broken shift linkages and shit. so im like flipping out waiting for it to go while driving.neways it doesnt and makes it so i drop my teg off at home and go back to work. now im on my lunch break i have the wheels off and the car jacked up. im covered in oil and dirt. i was jerking the linkage around to find the source of my clunk. couldnt find shit. so i think hell might as well pop the hood and sure enoguh there is my missing 17mmm socket and my air filter had popped off the tubing. ive been out side laughing at my self for the last 20 minutes. cuz i was seriously flipping out. i used every word i know to express my anger about this.. go ask my neighbores, they heard everything..

thats scary but funny in the end. I remember when i had the had off of my teg and then when i put it back together i kept hearing this clanking noise right after i put it together. turns out a 10mm socket and a little wrench that i had dropped was clanking around in the engine bay. very scary stuff. glad everything is alright though.

well guys today is a sad day for me. turns out the clunking was something very serious. after putting my teg on the ground i made it about half a block and out of nowhere. the car starts shaking and all i hear is avery loud very fast paced clunk clunk clunk clunk clunk, so i shut her down and stopped. tranny fluid pouring out of my transmission where the shift linkage is.but everything looks good there so im guessing its inside the case. the car is now stuck in gear. cannot be pushed anymore and barely is in my driveway. so now when i get it towed since the transmission was under warrenty since being rebuilt. they are going to just force and drag it up on the flat bed. wich is prolly going to fuck more shit up but hell it wont cost me a dime. ... no the axles are fine. its internal parts failure... i jsut hope i dont have ahole in my transmission case...

also the shifter moves fine but the car is stuck in a gear. but i cant seem to get it into fifth.. 1st through 4th the shifter feels fine. 5th it wont go into. and reverse when i put in it makes

hey bitch my fingers were greasy when i dropped that 10mm. don't be hatin.

That sucks about your tranny tx. it def. sounds like an internal problem within the case. unfortunatley, it sounds like your going to need a rebuilt tranny.

ya i know. i hate this it was rebuilt a few months back and less then 5k miles since then. im going to tell the guy if he really wants to make it right he would find me a super cheaper shorter geared tranny, and put those gears in my case and rebuild it.. but as of now the tow is free and thework being done is free

Well at least it is all free as of now. but only 5K on it!!! something must not have been built right if that's all you got out of it.

ya thats what i am thinking. ive heard nothing but good shit about this guy. never heard about a problem.im thinking honestly something that isnt included in the rebuild kit gave. like the internal shift lever or what ever it is. im going to ask them if i can keep the broken part and i will post pics..

good thing is im getting help on getting a 25k doller loan. to pay any and all other debet. and im looking into a 02 white g35 its auto but thats fine it will keep me from dogging on it and modding it. the g35 has about 65k on it. completely stock and drove by a older lawyer. so you know it was babied and taken good care of.. the guy want 18,500 for it. im going to go test drive it saturday...

very nice. a g35, even though its auto, is nice. i wanted one for a while but ended up goin with my 350Z which is the same car without a back seat.

def. post up some pics if possible. Transmissions are tricky, if one thing gets flyin around in there it will take everything else down with it. it's like a fat chick at a club with her friends. if she's not gettin any then shes bringin everyone else down with her.

well the g35 is out of the question atlest for a few years. right now my best bet is a 03 dodge ram 1500 reguler cab truck. its super nice. 20in oem wheels. areo kit. and the chrome grill. blue book value is 11k and since i know the guy he said he let it to me for an even 8500. its got liek 74k on the clock. all work has been done when its supposed to be done..im excited im getting a newer car and something i wont be worried about driving out of town.. but if i get this truck i need a trailor cuz my teg will become a weekend track whore...

well guys the teg is down for the count for atlest a few months. this is going to be kind of long is i am going to explain my thinking about this..

my problem last thursday is that my diff BLEW APART knocking a hole in my transmission case. i am keeping the teg, i love this damn car more then i love my self at times. ive put to much of my self into the teg to just get rid of it. with that said friday i should be getting a 98 mustang with 65k on it and in mint condition. its auto so i dont feel the need for anything more then maybe a set of 10's and dual flows.
also all of this isnt really that bad. for awhile ive been wanting a daily driver i could count on. i dont like to drive any more then i have to with my teg due to the miles and it being my only car. with this stang i have a reliable car that i know i can get where i need to go and get back. since im getting older that has been on my mind almost every day. i also have the chance to build my teg both power and looks then use it as a track whore\ weekend driver\spirited driving car. if something breaks oh well i can get it fixed later. not to mention as i love the feel of a race car. ie.. being gutted stiff suspension every kind of bar and brace you could think of cept for maybe 2. the girls dont like it much. the last girl that was in my car at first said ya i dont mind it. then after 1 hour in it, get out and say i hate your fucking car. its way to loud inside of it. and it rides like it has no suspension and is glued to the ground so you feel every single thing you drive over. i did look at her and say whats the problem. btw my suspension is brand new. illuminas with h&r sport, i guess it didnt help that i had my shocks set on 5 front and back.

but there is the story of everything that has lead up to this...

hopefully the mustang will do you well and im glad you are keeping the teg. most girls don't understand modification as well so whatever, they will deal with it. good luck piecing together that teg again.

it's always nice to have time on your side. That usually isn't a luxury we have.
