I would use the ECU for that motor. A obd1 p75 would be the best stock ecu as it is for the b18. The best thing to do is Hondata S100 chip the pr4 and have it tuned for your motor and setup. Do all the bolt ons before you get a tune. I run a p28 obd1 civic ex/si ecu that is chipped with a Hondata S100 and tuned with the S300. It was the best upgrade I have done.

what is the perpose of running the p28 ECU in a nonvtec car unless u have a ls/vtec what does it do for u he should use what ever ECU matches his head if it is a pr4 head get the pr4 ECU if he has the p75 head get the p75 ECU u wnt the ECU to match the cams/air/fuel/timming ect ect that is why i ask why are u running a vtec ECU in a nonvtec car

I have a P28 ecu chipped with Hondata and it uses a tuned B18b1 map. You can use any OBD1 civic or integra ecu when you use Hondata. I went with that ecu cause I may go ls vtec in the future. The P75 OBD1 ecu will run the B18a great, it has a better map but the stock ecu will be just fine. As I said the best way to go is a Hondata tuned ECU, more power can be made.

Go with the P75 for now, if you want to go with a chipped and tuned ECU you can chip it in the future. When it comes time for tuning talk to your local tuners first ans see waht they are using. No sence getting something they won't tune.

If you going off the cuff, I would go with ether Neptune or eCtune with the Moates Demon for tuning a chipped P75. The VTEC circuit can be enabled on a P75 if you want it as well.
