yesterday i was driving going up the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC driving about 80 mph the cop said and i was following a few cars and the speed limit is 60-65. well i got pulled and so did another guy. the cop just told us to slow down. i got extremely lucky because i got 1 ticket over 1 1/2 years ago and i do not need another 1 because both would go on my record. and i can not afford the ticket and insurance while in school. i came to the conclusion that there are a few things i need to fix on my car. my speedometer said i was doing 70 but not according the cop. so i need to get that problem fixed but i have no time so it keeps getting delayed. the next problem was the cop wanted me to put down my passenger window but it does not work so i opened my sunroof and had to talk that way. i have checked the motor and fuses and harnesses for that window and all i can figure out is that a wire must be cut somewhere. so i guess i know what i will be spending my easter break doing.

good thing you didnt open your door, cops dont like that, you mighta got the beat down stick

i swear one of the best things i did to improve my driving record was getting my ITR tranny with jdm FD. i NEVER go over 70 on the highway. just got to watch out for those 35mph back roads now.

yeah. i just need to watch my speed a little more but according to my speedometer i was doing 70 but since its been giving me problems i am not sure if that is correct. it fluctuates so much its hard to tell somethimes how fast i am going. yesterday it was not correct, i do know that for sure so i could have said improper equipment and just too the fine for that if i would have got a ticket because that would help keep it off my record.

Are you running insanely big tires? That can throw your speedo off....

As for the cop, listen to this..

One of my best friends from high school was pulled over by a town cop while driving to work as a Deputy Sheriff !

As the officer walked up to his car, my friend rolls down his window to talk to him....what happens? He gets a 357 Magnum to his temple for opening the window without being asked to.... WTF!?!?!? True story....
BTW, this was in VERMONT, not South Central..Most dangerous thing on the road is a wandering Holstein!

why would someone draw down just for openeing a window? i think its pretty standard to open your window when they come up to you and hand them your license and registration.

oh yeah and even if you challenge the ticket (if you got one) saying your speedo is off, no ones gonna care. they will just tell you get it fixed. its not like you can prove to the cop that its actually off now can you?
