i read on the old site about the h22 slugs in a h23 and wanted to try my hand at it, also i have read about the h22 head on h23, well i finaly found some usdm slugs and the guy also has the head, he say i should do both. so is this possible? or i should i choose 1 or the other. which one is better? opinions.

my brother did the h22 head w/h23 block and his car was running ok but my buddys 99 type-SH smoked the shit out of my bro and it was I/H/E on both cars. but i might just be the drivers but i test drove it and it seemed to pull hard.

How did your brother tune his? Were they running them in the same cars? Same tranny ratios? Theres alot of variables between who wins on the street or not,and wich is a better setup

my bro has a 97 base model same deal with sh but with out the 6 disc changer and the lips and fog lights but it was only tuned with a VAFC thats it and same trannys. My brothers car bogs at 3000 rpm then it will make power after that.

i picked up an empty h23 block, and h22 rods and pistons for $85. i still not 100% on the build but couldnt pass up the deal. how did the hybrid run? very reliable? i dont wanna be doin this very often
