As the title says, I am not exactly that, but I am a
DA nut addicted to second gen Integras. I have owned 3 DA9s, and everytimes I sell one and tell myself that I'm out of the import/Honda scene, I turn right back around the same month and purchase another Teg or Civic (the E F Civic is another favorite, but that is another story).

A brief run down of who I am; Originally from Southern California (San Diego/Los Angeles). I got involved into Hondas back in the summer of 1991, when some friends and I were supposed to go to a house party in Los Angeles, but we detoured off to meet some friends at a Denny's Restaraunt in Sylmar. We ended up at some street races and followed a friend with a E F Civic on SSR Super Fins and my neighbor with a DA on Gales. Those two cars inspired me at the age of 17 and from then on out I was not the same.

Now at 35 years old, I have witnessed alot and watched how the Import and Honda scene has evolved throughout the years of me living in Atlanta, GA and currently residing in Dallas/Ft Worth, TX. I have some knowledge that I can possibly share to help on this site, but also feel like an old man that knows nothing at all and need to learn more from others that may have answers to the questions needed to be asked.

But most importantly (respect to this site), with all the Hondas that I owned, only one was VTEC installed, and have been nonVTEC for sometime now. Because of the expense of such and sometimes hard to find/or bargain, it seems much wiser to stay nonVtec with the unwanted and readily availabe Honda motors out in the salvage yards.

Let everybody else fight for those B16/B18Cs, H22s and K series motors. Let them spend there money on N/A VTECs, I'll use the rest of my money I saved to boost this nonVtec!

?Why is it when I try to type the chassis code for the fourth gen Civic/CRX, it changes my f into a d?
