alright guys i currently have a 95 civic with a d15b7. im gonna buy and rebuild a b18b1 soon but im kind of in the dark when it comes to b series. i know with all d series motors that 99% of the parts are interchangeable and im wondering if b series is the same? like if i wanted to put headers or an intake manifold or something basic from lets say a b16 or b18c1 would it work on the b18b1? all input and info is appreciated!!!

b series are the same from integra's...the b series motors from early gen preludes do not

pretty sure certain intake mani's wont fit the LS either. for example the gsr one has a different bolt pattern i believe...but yes alot of the bseries parts are interchangeable like the D

will parts like cams and aftermarket intake manifolds and headers and such from a c1 fit the ls?

just any kind of aftermarket engine parts. i plan to possibly stroke mine.. but the main parts i want to find is rods, pistons, cams, cranks, etc.

as for stroker kits, i know briancrower.com makes one for the LS. for rods and pistons, if your just trying to raise the compression, u can get CTR or ITR spec pistons which r cheaper than forged. for cams it all depends on what kind of power u want to make and where in the powerband u want that power. crower or brian crower are always solid choices, along with skunk2---and if ure gettn cams, might as well do springs and retainers--skunk, crower, and brian crower are solid choices once again.

Vtec camshaft will not fit the ls. As for the intake manifold, gsr, b16, itr, bolt pattern will not fit. The only way to use these manifold is to modify it. The header are interchangeable because they have the same bolt pattern.
