Hey guys i'm almost ready to purchase my first engine B18B1 for a build. I just have a couple questions as far as it goes.

I will be trying to swap the engine into my 2000 Civic ex coupe (ej8/EK chasis) do i need new mounts? i looked at hasport but didnt find any for my application.

im looking at putting down close to 190 hopefully more on an NA setup hopefully non vtec are there any reliable ideas of how to do this? (this car is still my DD)

will the exhaust fitment of this swap be an issue? or will i be able to bolt to my stock cat? (i already have an rsr catback and plan on keeping it)

if i perform bottom end work to the engine ex. crank balancing, new balanced rods, pistons without changing compression can i still pass smog at the ref station?

also if you guys could help with products etc to use that would be awesome! im also looking at getting up there in rpm 7.5-8k with the entire build any tips on building the engine right?

190whp is a lot to hit with a N/A b18b not that it is impossible. but have you thought about some spray it can be reliable if you have the right set up. like a WOT kit

and second i have never heard of a WOT kit that sounds great! is it a wet injection type?

The WOT stands for Wide open throttle it will activate when you are at wide open throttle insted above a serton rpm so less likly to blow your motor. I think you can get it in dry or wet shoot you would prob be safe with a 50 shoot but do some research first. some kits will come with diff jets that you can swich to change your shoot like a 30 shoot jet a 50 and a 75.

you'll be putting down about 142 inn the LS, and exhause fitment will work fne on the car, but stock cat.idk.
just run a test pipe or a high flow cat

test pipes and highflow cats bult with the same flanges so they can bult up to your stock or afterbmarket exhast worst comes you worst you could always make or have made some sort of adapter plate.
