I have a D15B7 automatic and cracked the tranny, I accidently purchased a tranny that turned out to be vtec. My tranny has a cable from the throttle that connects and this other one has plugs instead. Does anyone know how I can connect it?

i think u just have to get a different trans. i dont think theres a difference between vtec and non vtec trannys. that cable your looking at is probably the speedo cable and the other trans that you have is electic usually come in 92 and up civics........so if the car your trying to put this trans is older than 92 your speedo is not gonna work

Yeah, I was checking and was coming to the same conclusion. My car is a 93 and I have 2 of them, they both use that same cable.

just change the vss's all it is a 10mm bolt 1 to be exact, and switch them.
