So for this LS build I want to make about 200whp and about 270whp with nitrous. :grin: If you guys have any ideas let me know. heres what I am thinking will get me this number

bran crower stage 2 cams
supertech dual vavle sping/retainer
68 mm TB
Skunk2/victor IM
4-1 header
eagle rods
supertech 11.5:1 pistons
dsm 440 injectors
walbro 255
fuel rail
Hondata s100

Any ideas let me know, also if you have any part I still need pretty much everything.

Ok it will be hard to get 200whp na without Vtec but is possilbe. You will need to run a higher on compression, 12:1 or 12.5:1. Upping displacement to 2.0L will help alot. Get a good port and polish job on the head, this is a must do to hit high numbers on a Ls motor. You will need to run bigger cams to 200whp, say 403s or 404s. A good 4-1 header like a Hytec type or a JDM TypeR style and a 2.5 inch header back. I would go with a Skunk2 or Blox intake manifold instead of the Victor. Get ARP rod bolts to handle the higher revs and ARP head bolts to hold the No3. Have the bottom end balanced to handle higher revs. Every else sounds good. As I said it is hard/alot to make 200whp na on a Ls motor but do able.

Yeah I swithched to a b20 build. I might go 403 but im not sure, it still needs to be a daily driver. I did swith to the skunk2 manifold and im hoping to get a bisimoto header. and yes for sure rod bolts and balanced.

There is a Hytech replica header that is sold on ebay. It is very good quality and only around $200. Hasport told me about them when I was doing research on header for my setup. I went with a 4-2-1 for my build but I only plan on stage 1 cams and 145-150ish whp.

there is no way that you will hit 200whp all motor on that setup

He should get close to 200whp but will need to use more agressive cams. Like I said 403 or 404 cams will be alot better and still streetable with a good tune.

^ on a stock port job good luck hitting 200whp...ive seen a 200hp ls, but the ls head had 3K worth of port work
