Ok I have a 92 DA9 and she is a work in progress. My thing is I'm always getting pulled over! I'm not speeding or swurving I'm just cruising. I've been pulled over cause of my yellow fogs and my hids, ride height, tail lights, and corner lights, plus of course my exhaust. yesterday I was in the process of swapping my steering wheel so I had the front cover off but had to leave in a rush and I got pulled over. The first question was do you know your ride height is illegal and the he garbs for his gun and says holy shit! is this car stolen!? My keys were in the ignition and enerything WTF! I got a few friends that are in to their chevys. My DA9 compared to their truck is like a toy, I sit low and they're running lift kits and big tires wit cherry bomb exhaust or glass packs. They don't get stopped at all, I following my dude in his silverodo wit a 2in. lift and tires can't forget his glass pack exhaust that drowns out my system and I get stopped for altered exhaust and ride height, my friend pulled over right in front of me ang got nothing but me a 150 dollar ticket WTF! yOU KNOW i THINK IT'S BECAUSE I'M....... driving a low car. What do you guys think?

yea honestly cops are biased to muscle

its because your driving a import. i think theres a survey on the internet that shows that cops do pull over more imports then domestics. and if u tune your car it just raises that chance of getting a ticket. also like you said those trucks are pretty loud ( and my van due to a broken exhuast) but they never get harassed for being to loud. also have you heard a harley rev up, those bad boys are extremely loud. way pass the limit with that sound meter.

Hell yeah those Harleys are loud, kinda like a jack hammer! But even modded cavaliers/ berettas skate on by, srt4s and non srt4 neons. Srt4s are loud and those berettas have a annoying sound to them, oh well I guess its a good thing they're hatin on me... it means I doing something right.

+1 on that! my father is a retired cop and unless your just a jack ass riding around doing stupid stuff he didnt mess with people. but then again there are cops here that do the same thing as OP said just ignore the 24ft chevy truck running open header and goes for the import....the best thing to do is eithersuck it up and live with the fact that some cops are biased and will single imports out or .....you could buy a 24ft tall chevy and run shit over.....lol.

lol that sucks dude i can actually attest this a few time once in my techno violet M3 got mad shit in that car and in my DA before it was stolen it was thanksgiving day i was turning left at a light going westbound and i saw cop in the right lane going east bound as i was turning didnt think anything over 1 minute later i see this cop car hauling ass and signals to get behind me im like wtf?i get pulled over by the same fucking cop i just passed didnt give any reason to why he pulled me over wrote me up for no insurance when i had it was just a hassle seems liked twice a week i would popped and my car was as low key minus the ride height and exhaust damn cops

Like I said there are some good cops but I just think tax payers dollars could be better spent chasing down big drug dealers, level 3 sex offenders, and serial killers instead of breaking the sound barrier to chase down an import, who's jus crusing. Now if you have some dumb ass revvin the piss out of his car jus to hear the exhaust or redlining every gear on busy public roads then by all means GET EM! it might just be there i just traded my DA for the DC i have know and i would take reflectors off the road with it and never got messed with for ride hieght

Yea maybe. I heard in Florida there is no such thing as ride height, I seen some of the Dunks on T.V. and I was told Monster trucks roam free and cars scrap the ground. It is what it is I guess.

I know now what you mean. I just like cruising I got two kids and I'm still kinda young so pointless tickets and crashing is not an option for me. My papers are all legit and my car will be lower and I wouldnt change a thing, thats how I roll.

If your cars looks anything but stock you will get pulled over. I got pulled over for tint and exhaust a while ago and the car pretty much looks stock. They are out there to get money and your car seems like an easy target. Its the combination of all those things that see, especially the yellow fogs. If you can fit a soda can standing up underneath the car then the ride height is legal (at least here in California).

Nope no soda can is fittin under my car. Like ghettokracker said it comes with the territory...and I'm fine with that low riding isn't a sport its a way of life.

yea the back sat lower cause i took the bump stops out and i had to have the front like that so i could still turn but i dont have that car anymore i traded it for the DC i have know witch im in the process of tryin to get smaller rims so i can put this one on the ground.... but i also have another DA that is not running right know that is just as low as the black one was
