if you do it right the first time, it ends up saving you money down the road.

+1. Agreed. Do it right or don't at all. You might end up with a fux0red head and valvetrain then you don't have any car to get to work to pay off them fancy cams

And since its all apart... you might as well install new springs and retainers to match the cams.

its rumored titanium retainers dont last long, so i dunno i'd stay away from them.

okay so what do yous guys think about crower cams 402's more aggressive then stock and no need for vavletrain right..I just want something with more power than the stock can push out and one other thing I might be pushing the motor on nitrous also 50 shot.

402's are baby cams and dont require upgrade valvetrain. step up to the 403/404's and have MORE fun... but you WILL need to change the valve train too.

I've heard of people running 403's w/o vavles and so far no problem..but getting the head done with valves and retainers gonna be to much thats why im trying to stay away from the head package. So what your trying to say is that the 402's aren't worth the money and gains right so umm i might stay away from them than.

the stock LS will be wonderful on a 50 shot, just tune it properly.

Speaking of...thats how I got into integras. I know its off-topic,...I had just gotten a job and a guy had an LS(intake, exhaust, gutted cat, gutted interior, removed a/c and p/s) with a 50 shot and I watched him run a bolt-on stang gt and spank that high 12 second v8 car on the street. I was hooked

I tried 75 shot and i kinda blew my head so this time im going a little safer with t he 50 shot. The car was all stock with only intake, zex plugs and retard'd timing maybe to much retard'd and so I learn'd my lesson with a 75 shot with stock everything but i did pump 92 maybe it was my injectors that need'd to be bigger or fuel pump... but LS on nitrous love it ...."pulls just as hard as turbo" my opinion.... :D
