Some of the 92-95 civic DX's Had a Map sensor on the firewall and that will be the difference. Even if the wiring harness you have on the LS plugs up, if it has a plug for the throttle body MAP then the ECU still wouldn't receive the proper signal and therefore wouldn't start. I've been EXACTLY where you are.

yeah i did some research and im thinking that the 92's were the ones with the map on DA firewall. 93-95 had them on DA tb so i need one from a 93-95.

No Not really you just need the engine bay harness that came with the car or one from an equal. Even if its wired for the firewall the plug is still the same so it will plug into the Throttle Body.

You will also have to convert the oil pump since there is a crank sensor down there or by pass it at the ecu.

Conversion harnesses solve this problem.

Intake manifold doesn't matter, injectors need to be OBD2 but with an easy rewire you can use the old ones, and the dizzy is the main issue as you will need the OBD2 or a conversion adapter from Password:JDM to use the OBD1
