What year is it and what kind of build do you have? If it is obd1 (94-95), I had a p75 chipped with a hondata.

p75 chipped with either an uberdata(less expensive), chrome, or hondata. go to a local tuning shop and ask them what they can tune and go from there.

I'm not sure if you would be able to tune that ecu for your setup. Maybe someone else could chime in and let you know.

you would at least be able to chip and program a p28 w/ crome . . . in the program you can disable vtec so it won't look for the pressure switch and the solenoid.

There isn't one chip in particular. "Chipping" is referring to the replacement of the OEM programmers chip. Have someone replace the one in your P28 with a removable chip that way changing you tune will be a cinch. Just pull out the old chip, tune a bit, and then put it back in and go. I was running a CROME chipped P28 on my LS turbo until I switched to the AEM EMS and yes Vtec is removable with CROME.

You can, essentially, run any OBD1 Honda ECU with your setup, so long as it is chipped/socketed and the program installed does not have VTEC enabled.

I actually get to install my P06 [converted to a P28 VTEC] ECU today, and I've been figuring out CROME for a little bit now, so if you'd like I can post up a quick how-to and what-it-is about ECU selection, chipping/socketing, and tuning a setup. I'm learning as I do this, so of course don't take my word for concrete evidence.
