you know i read alot of what hp will i gain and how much will this and that what should i go with ls/v or all motor i all comes down to what are u useing the car for i can only tell you from experience i have built ls/v's if u want a lot of torque and high end to boot this i a motor for you but it will not be cheap we dont know you experience on motor building but wiring and ecu tuning is a must if u want torque and so so high end u want a all motor but u want to build it right pistons/head work/cams/ect i have had both i like the fact that i can roll all over a gsr and others to say yah non vtec to me it is just hype if built right a all motor can and have kept up with the vtec'ers the torque is unbeilieveable and i just keep pullen but that is just my 2 cents

i know what you mean, i really wanted to be able to say ya its just an ls but being broke makes it hard to invest and have fun, and id prolly trade parts for cams n such for the ls, but so far all i can trade for is a vtec head, so with that being said money is more the decideing factor, as far as building expercience ive built and swapped a few motors before, no lsvtecs, but its been done right countless of times, so im it wont be to to hard, just gotta do your homework before you go oh ya i can do this, and that, thats alot of why i was debating wether or not to go this route, and also cause i love nonvtec, but there is proven power in that technologie
anyway it should make good numbers, it will be a stock lsvtec, rebiult to stock everything, and so far im thinking the golden eagle kit, i still need to read up on the knock sensor tho..anyone in the dfw area? im thinking of going to redline to get my tune, they sounde like they knew what they were talkin about, not like alamo, they sounded pretty dumb, at least the guy i talked to..maybe im completly wrong tho, any one have experience with them?
