Hello.. I have a 1994 Del Sol Type S.. I want to build my B18a for it, because I just have one laying around.. Here are my plans for it. What you guys think. Think I'll be able to make 170 whp??

b18a with b18b intake
crower 404 cams and gears
Full head job B18a head, port/polish valves springs etc..
wlbro 190 fuel pump
b16 pistons (Should put me around 11.5:1 right?)
full rebuild wth felpro gaskets and mls headgasket
acl bearings
light wieght flywheel and 6 puck clutch
gsr trans
aem cold air
ams fuel rail
dsm 450's
full 2 1/4 exhaust
fiilled mounts

i would get a better Intake Manifold like skunk2 or blox, and go higher in the compression like 12-12.5:1

well.. I want to put some boost on it eventually. So.. I'd like to keep the CR at a decent point so if I want to toss some low boost on it later (Like a S/C) I can do that. If that doesn't happen.. I'll go higher on the compression. Maybe a 13:1 if I can pull that off..

And the IM is gunna get changed.. But short on cash right now. So I'll do what I can as soon as I can.

b16 pistons are ok higher compression doesnt always add power.

4BangN, Hey, i had a question regarding that set-up. How'd it come out because i'm currently rebuilding my block with the same set-up almost. I'm puttin in the P-30 Pistons instead of the regular b16's. Supposedly my compression will be like 11:5 or :8. I'm gonna go with the Crower Stage 2 Cams and a Skunk 2 Intake Manifold. Good luck man.
