 Post subject: my b18b1 build?

so i plan on takein my ls/vtec out and puttin it in my stock EK and turning my EG coupe into a all motor ls or turbo dd ls this is the setup i got in mind but im sure i missing alot of stuff and i want to if this is a good dd setup on 93 lmk thanks


head:
crower stage 2 cams
crower valves and duel valve springs and ti retainers
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk 2 70mm tb
some cam gears

bottom end;

CP PISTONS AND RINGS WITH EAGLE RODS
ARP HEAD STUDS
ARP RODBOLTS
ACL BEARINGS
forged crankshaft maybe mite just keep stock one
new oil and water pump
and basic bolt ons i/h/e

wat do yall think does that seem like a good dd setup wat kind of tune should i do on it if so if anyone has a better build setup lmk

what is the compression on the pistons going to be if there in the 10.5 11ish i would get bigger cams but all an all lookes good why get a 70 tb i mean a 68 would do just fine

i was think aof getting the compression 9.0;1 should i move up to the 10/11 if so wats cams do u recommend and i was told a good tb for this build would be a 70mm is 68 better is there a power difference

if u keep the comprssion low i take it u are going turbo/jrsc i msunderstud u i thought u wanted a all motor l/s that is why i suggested you bump up your compression and get bigger cams u can also get some ha ha gas if you dont want a turbo/jrsc but i would upgrade the valvetrain if you are going that route

lol no haha juice for me thats the cheatin way to win a race in my eyes yea i want to go turbo but also thinkin about all motor but im more on the turbo side

cool then keep the compresion low and u should be fine your original set up looks good let us know how the build goes

You dont have to keep the compression low unless your tuner sucks and it will make for crappy off boost power. I'd go with at least stock compression.

if your going to do all motor...i recommend going 12.5:1 pistons, and crower 404's
