Just caught the honda bug so I went out and purchased a b18b. I plan to purchase new lightened eagle crank weisco12.5:1 pistons manley rods and a girdle for the bottom end.Sending to the machine shop next week to be bored to overt to 81.5!!! Heres a 1 pic more to come when I upload the rest

which model weisco pistions are you using, Im in the process of an all motor LS build and i have weisco 81.5 pistons but i dont recal any specification about them being 12.5:1 compression.

either way, what are your plans for the build? are you going NA, what kind of power #'s are you trying to hit.

No car yet just the motor im putting my time and money in that for now. Yeah on the pistons not sure what cp im going with yet.When i go to the machine shop were going to talk about that and figure out what im going to order while he has that.In the end it will be a street car with a little nos (125shot)to it going im hoping for atleast 250hp and i wouldnt mind seeing 12's

A built b18b will easily squeeze out 175 -180+ 125 shot of n02 275-300 is my estimate. Definatly 11.0-1 cr with some crower 403s or 404s sleeved block and better rods.

Im not going to sleeve the block im going to grab an engine girdle out of a gsr and im ordering a block gaurd in hopes of a little more stability.Taking the crank rods and pistons out today pics will come later

hey i got a nx nos system for you 350 OBO and i got a skunk2 manifold 140 and crower stage 2 cams. used and i got brand new crower dual springs and brand new crower retainers. 350 also ls rods already milled for aftermarket pistons with arp rod bolts pressed in. 140 lmkkk 845-863-4572

a built ls will not easily put down 175-180 hp to the wheels it will also depend on what dyno you use some are more generous than others it takes alot of head work and the right combonation of part to hit those numbers sorry to say not to mention alot of money so do your home work and research and then more research but that is just my 2 cents good luck with your build

Sorry there hasnt been many updates.I ordered a bunch of parts the other day so just waiting for the mailman to drop them off!!!! I ended up ordering the wiseco 11.6:1 pistons with manley rods a set acl race bearing a golden eagle engine girdle kit and a block guard. That should keep be busy for a little bit.

Hey we did 150 shot on a stock rebuild ls motor. Aslong you give it more fuel and retard 3 degees and use 2 step colder plugs. You'll be ok. Our civic has been running 5 months strong.
