holy compression batman! Looks good so far, but I'm no expert. What EMS are you planning to run? Fuel system? Trans?

You shoud look into a hondata intake manifold heat gasket...cheap, but helps a little for some extra squeezed out ponies

All good stuff but probably overkill with all the forged internals. Why not just get some RS Machines cast pistons and some ARP rod bolts for a total of $340 instead of like $750-800 for all the forged stuff? Compression would be around 11.3 (with no head or block milling) which is plenty for 404's.

Forged is all good but not really necessary with all-motor non-VTEC. Put the money into a good header and/or tuning.

What year are those injectors from? VTEC or nonVTEC prelude?

anything that includes a 2.0L and an ED is going to be nasty. hope it works out for ya. makes me want to think of some new ideas for my delso that i am looking at buying. that b16 tranny might have to short of gears for that motor. just a thought.

There's much to be said for low mass forged pistons and rods... I don't know if his are light weight, but it does make a significant difference.

I thought 1G DSM's that were AUTO as well as turbo came with 390cc's?

Anywho, good luck.

Dude good luck with that beast, I'm almost two years into a very similar project with no time to ever work on it. Keep with it, you'll love the torque and everything else that comes with that setup.

A lot of people have said you can make those 404's pretty tolerable as far as idle goes.

Yeah I guess that is one benefit but I'm not all for trying to use a non-VTEC head and overbored B20 block for the kind of rpm's that would really make that a serious factor. He's probably only gonna see 8500 max.

what size is your header? is the car tuned with that compression? but it sounds like a low 13second car, good blueprint

sounds like a copy of my build. btw i made just over 180hp with stock ports on a p8r head. stock ports really held me back even though i had the 33mm valves and a good valvejob. i woulda been in the area of 190+ easy if my power didnt die off so fast to you certainly have good potential.
