was up everybody im doing swap b18b into ek96 civic got it almost done just stuck on power steering and a/c comp ,, just wanna know what bracket 2 use on this swap power steering and the a/c coz i try 96 integra brackets won't fit , do i need 2 change both 2 integra if not wat bracket need 2 use ??? thnx

i did the same swap, as far as the power stering pump you need one off a 99-00 si, as for the ac bracket you can use the 96 integra one it should work ( its what i used). what also could throw you off is a messed up driver side mount. are you useing an inovative mount kit? what are you useing for the lower tourque mout bracket on the tranny that could also thro the motor off. here is what i got.

post up pics so we can see whats binding you up.

I have a 96 ex and i was going to do the same swap and was wondering what all i need to do this swap. Do you think the b18b is faster then a b16 2nd gen in the same car?

yes a b16 has more power. if you have the money then sure. no need to buy and engine harness because your all ready wired for vtec. you need the same parts listed above. the only thing you dont have to by is the drivers side mount bracket, unless the motor was swaped in an acura integra.

thnx for the info bro just got it right for the a/c i try to use 96 but didnt work but somebody told me use crv bracket and it work , im trying to post some pic but dont know how trying show my DA build and the EK just finish ,,,

personally...i would get a b18b w/ a b16 tranny...that setup will be faster than a b16
