Got rear ended by a 17 yr old with no insurance on the freeway recently....
Traffic had stopped in front of us, she didn't stop fast enough...
Low speed, but the bumper cover, plate lights, etc were toast. She got 2 fat tickets in the bargain. How any parent could put a kid on the road w/o insurance is beyond me...
Had a same color identical OEM one shipped from a yard in Dallas for $10 less than my uninsured driver deductible......support, license plate light, absorbers and all...did it myself to avoid the hassle and got some extra spare components too...... Sourced it through http://www.car-part.com, pretty nifty way to find used parts.
First shot is the original parts minus the cover. Can you believe that the Styrofoam absorbers are $40/side from Acura? Luckily the new ones were ok.
