hey guys whats up, im new here but im not new to the honda scene, ive owned 2 DA's in a little under 2 years and am an avid member of g2ic.com. heres a little of my history. my first one was garbage but i didnt know anything about hondas and was what i would admit a "ricer". needless to say the chassis had about 6g's of cancer and dents. that one gave me hell, in about 6 months i would say i spent over $1k on it in repairs from blown alternator to melted distributor, but... the straw that broke her back was when i snapped an axle, i was working at a grocery store at the time and a friend walked in that owned a DA i had my eye on for a while, asked her what happened to it because i hadnt seen it in about a year. she said it had been broken down for that whole time and asked if i wanted it. hmm... that decision was a little hard on one hand i had a trashed DA, on the other a clean/un-running DA for $800. so i got the second one, one MFR swap, and a walbro 255 later and i was crusin in a '90 melbourne blue GS. since then i swapped over everything off of my old DA, (full 2.5'' exhaust, headers, intake, new distributor, new alternator, MFR, and cdm seatbelts booya), here she is about 5 months ago( cant find my digicam):

*jdm b18b
*apexi neo
*aem wideband
*cai
*headers
*custom 2.5'' exhaust
*walbro 255
*adjustable regulator
*jdm 1pcs
*cdm/jdm manual seatbelts
*gsr cluster/body color matching indiglo gauges (sound rice but looks good)
*almost 3'' drop
*17''enkie rs-v's
*xtd stage 1 clutch(feels stock but grabs like a mofo, impressive for a short budget ebay item)
*ES mount inserts
*ES shift bushings

i think thats it, sorry again for going on. if u made it this far thanks for reading, i hope i can learn/help alot on this forum

Nice car but it appears you have a lot of stuff on there you dont need.

*apexi neo
*aem wideband
*walbro 255
*adjustable regulator

You said you have JDM 1 Pieces? Where are they in the pics? I see Ebay 1 pieces and USDM 3 piece headlights...

Good start though, enjoy the site.

Well... what warrants a 255lph fuel pump and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Definitely not a stock LS. It's rumored stock FPR's are good up to 500 or more.

Unless you're going with some sort of crazy NA or boost build a 255 is overkill as far as pumps are considered.

Never really been a fan of any sort of piggyback tuner like the Apexi Neo, SAFC, VAFC... etc. If you wanna tune the engine, do it w/Hondata, Crome, Neptune... etc.

Just my two cents, sorry if you dont like them.

its all good everyone is intittled to their own. i put the 255 in cuz the previous owner couldnt figure out that the MFR was shot so they ran a hotwire strait from the ignition pin on the fuse panel to the pump and fried it, i figured i wanted to boost eventualy so why not put something to help out in if i was gonna go through the trouble of dropping the tank. the reg is just because the origional motor had 300k on it and i didnt want to risk anything with a new pump going in. the neo was more for the gauges it offers, helped out alot when i swapped motors as far as tps and minor troubleshooting here and there, i eventualy want to go obd1 around x-mas and hopefully an s300 and boost by summer. the wideband helped too. i kept getting code 43 but every book i looked in just said "fuel supply problem" then i realized that every time my cel came on (only did this sometimes) the a/f ratio would shoot to 17.5 almost leaned off the gauge, traced it back to a couple clogged injectors but ive had them cleaned and rated since the swap.
