Noobie doobie doobie dooo here. I should of came to this board first before taking on this project, but i confident on my start.

Anyways, I'm trying to get my DA Integra that's been sitting in the garage for a good 7 years i suppose. So, it's time to make it a toy.

I'm in hopes of trying to get 500 "normal" ride around the streets HP, and 600+ HP at the track with upping the boost. So, the question i been getting every time i talk to someone about it, and every time i call a performance shop is....why do you want to stick with non-vtec??...basically "i don't want vtec to kick in yo !!!" lol.

I want to beat alot of the imports and domestics with no vtec....i mean I'm not the most knowledgeable person about Honda VTEC motors but isn't it just basically a bigger lobe once it kicks in...smaller for lower RPM and bigger for top end....more RPM's ofcourse, best of both worlds, right?

Well i don't plan on being in the lower RPM very much...it's really just going to be a once a month car...and that once a month is going to be racing the shit out of it. I'm going to have fun with it **rubbing hands together like a fly**

I plan on either going with stock crank or aftermarket, top of the line bearing for the bottom end. I'm getting the stock LS head ported and polished with all new valvetrain, everything i can possibly do to the head is what i wanna do. I already have a BLOX intake manifold, I'm probably going to go with water cooled turbo intercooler (secret service auto showed me a cool one when i dropped off my engine block) which it got rid of alot of the piping which i liked. I mean im going to have grands just dumped into the motor. But, since i been out the import game since....shit... forever it seems like...lets just say, i got out the import game two years before the first K series motor was coming out...which i think was the RSX who had that...i dont remember.

Well you guys are going to be my builders, i need help in knowing what to buy... (i already been reading a 404 cam would be ok), i just need you guys to ask me questions and i'll answer and you tell me how you would build it and i'll take it all into consideration.

Here is what i have so far, just a little over a month in...took a while for the block to be done. I got more stuff like i said, but this is part of the main components.

Also, already ordered adjustable cam bears, Walbro fuel pump...which i need to look into E85 and if it's compatible. 1000hp CV joints, I have some Nitto Drag Radials for the street but i do need to look into some full racing wrinkle wall tires for the track.

Chime in on some suspension setups and what you guys are using? Cause it don't matter how much HP i have if i cant get the mofo to hook up.

Holy shit im going to be doing alot of lurking around on this board. Let's just hope it's not a low traffic board.

welcome...you have a big project ahead of you...looks like you have the block pretty much done, i would get aggressive turbo/all motor cams and valve-train for the head and a P&P done...also need to get like 1000cc injectors or so, and look into a bigger fuel rail...i would also get hondata for tuning (S300 model)

for suspension setup, they do make "drag" setups, i believe omni power makes some check their website out...you could just get a coilover system that has adjustable dampening.

I'm thinking RC 1000cc injector and I bought me a used...well it was new but it was an individual seller (I think he started a build but couldnt finish it.) So Im looking throughout the import forums and picking up new but "used" parts for cheap.

Hondata s300 was my first choice because the shop (secret service auto) going to get it tuned is familiar with it. So I wanted to do a dyno tune to get everything correct.

ground control, tein, skunk2 are all solid setups. alittle more expensive but the suspension is where u dont cheap out :super

Suspension will probably be my last step, i want to finish the motor first....i get side tracked really fast. lol.
