alright i got a integra ls...im tryin to get more power out of it b4 i decided to go vtec......so far i got DC header, aem intake, greddy exhaust, skunk 2 intake mani, type r thorttle body, chipped ls ecu with chrome with a two step programed in it...

im tryin to stick with skunk2 for the motor build up as in for cams, cam gears, etc etc....but sadly they dont make it for my ls, only for vtec..so now im trying to see wat else can be done, i mean ive been pullin away from k20s easily but i want more power, havent dyno'd it yet but imma get there once i get some dsm injectors, fuel rail and my 255 walbro fuel pump...

anything else i can add? and any1 know some good cams, gears, wat type of pistions to go with etc...

if you want more power. First you'll need to crack open the bottom end and get some more compression as well as add some crowers 404's and appropriate valve train are what you're going to need...

yea i agree with 4sd4dr on the pullin with the k20's...in my teg i had my all motor ls make around 150 whp with a type r tranny and i raced my buddies rsx-s and it was dead even till 5 gear where he pulled on me...it takes a lot to beat a k20 dude...

usually a correctly done all motor ls will make in the realm of 165-180whp and about 125-135 ft-lbs of torque

i think its possible hes beating k20's depending what he is racing. i have ls in my 4 dr. and i can pull a types till 3rd to 4th. then it will slowly pass me up. and i dont have much mods to mine. another type s beat me at the track and it had mods. it pulled me by .245 of a sec. (in the 1/4.) now for the ep hatches. i pull them all the way around and have time to relax in neutral before hitting the next gear. not trying to boost this guys head up. but i think it depends on which k series he's racing against. i dont see him pulling a type s easily. but maybe one of the lower model k's like the non type s. or something.

lol love how it went from helping me out to raggin on me "pulling on k20s" lol
but its all good...its no bullshit. i can understand 1 that might sound like bull is that i beat a 07 si with my ls by a car cuz as soon as i banged 4th he caught up...but for that 1 i think the guy cudnt drive, and as for a type s raced one n he gave me a car and won by half a car...and the the other k20s as in the A3 they were worked on. but w/e i didnt come on this site to make myself out as cocky or some1 who has a fast car, i jus want some help on improving my car.

yea i gotcha man...but yea with ur ls...IMO i would build a relatively high comp. motor (11:1) all motor and then put a lil spray on it...and thats just cuz i love spray lol :lol:
