You must include the following in your listing.
DO's1. Item Description. Describe the item(s) you are selling as best you can. Include as much information about the items condition.
2. Price, Shipping and Payment Options. Be thorough in your price, shipping and payment options, before posting your thread.
3. Pictures are optional, but as we know when you post something for sale, you're almost always immediately asked to post a picture, so kill two birds with one stone and do this from the get go. Host your images on
http://photobucket.com4. Seller information. Please be very thorough in including all contact info, name (real first and last), address (physical, especially if they list a P.O. Box), phone numbers (cell or landline, landline preferred) etc. You can never have to much information. Know your seller.
DON'Ts5. No bashing on prices or items. If you do not like the price or item being sold, do not comment.
6. Only one thread bump per day. If you bump the thread more than once in a day, it will be locked.
7. Prices are required, this isn't eBay. Set a price and take offers from there.
8. No testing waters threads. It's either for sale, or its not.
9. If you have quite a few things to sell, make a list and post them all at once. Trying to keep this section as uncluttered as possible.
Message to all buyers and sellers. Protect yourself. Do not do shady business on this site or any other site. No one likes a thief. If you willingly leave out information about an item you're selling... then you're no better than a thief.
As of 4/17/08, if you mark your item as sold the thread will be locked. There's no need for the thread to remain active any longer. It will save clutter. If you believe you've been hosed, contact the sellers local law enforcement give them as much information as you have (read #4) after you done this, it might be a good idea to contact the district attorney for their county/city.
