Hi everyone, I resisted the urge to swap a B18c1 into my 98 LS so I picked up a spare B18b1 to rebuild... I'm limited to what I can do because of the race class I'm planning on being in (NASA Time Trial class D) so the build will be mostly OEM w/ upgraded stress items and some breathing mods:

Stock head, Brian Crower stage 2 cams, cam gears, valvetrain, ARP head studs
Skunk2 intake manifold, Precision Products 68mm throttle body, P2R TB/IM gaskets, ebay short ram intake, Blox velocity stack
OEM oversize LS pistons + rings, shotpeened LS rods, ARP rod bolts
Micropolished + balanced LS crank, GSR main caps + girdle, ARP main studs (GSR)
Various other things like GSR oil/water pump + timing belt, all new gaskets
B16/ITR transmission (haven't decided yet), MFactory LSD (if B16), I could go on and on... the car will be close to 2300 lbs almost fully gutted. My goal is to put out around 160-170whp tuned.
