hey guys, i am planning ona doing an all motor build to my b18b

ls block
arp rod bolts
arp main bolts
manley rods
jdm p30 pistons

ls head
crower 403 cams
crower cam gears
crower valve springs
crower valves
crower retainers
port and polish
5-angle valve job
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk 2 throttle body 68mm
tdm race headers
either 310 or 410 injectors
aem fuel rail
aem fpr

msd digital 6 box
msd blaster coil
walboro 255 fuel pump


not sure about what i am going to be tuning on tho

any input on that, any downfalls or changes?

i'd run neptune rtp


and are manley rods designed for floating wrist pins or pressed in wrist pins...


nice wish list, how soon til its done?

do you have any more info on neptune, some sites that would have information, id appreciate that

im not sure about the manley rods, those are the rods im leaning twords but i dont know much about them.

its a big wish list, im going to start buying parts hopefully this week, its going to be a long build lol

Reason I ask Honda pistons aren't meant for use with floating wrist pins... stock piston / rods use a pressed in pin...

So you might want to rethink the use of OE pistons with aftermarket rods.

As far as Neptune RTP....

thanks alot now i am going to re think my pistons and rods opinions...im going to have to start looking for something new now

Why not use stock rods w/the p30's? add some ARP rod bolts and you should be fine. If you're worried about strength, get the rod shot peened. You could always have the rods, pistons and wrist pins balanced... that would help slightly.

yeah i was thinking about that too, id save money with not buying new rods, not alot bout still, i am just going to use stock rods and p30 pistons
