i have a 91 integra with a b17a vtec ..(93 integra motor)
the engine was swapped in cause the original b18 motor blew..
now that the b17 motor got swapped in..
i cant seem to get the vtec working..
it runs fine with a ls ecu but if i change it to the pr3 vtec ecu..
it keeps on dying..
any tips on how i can get the vtec to work properly?

The ecu he has should be a odb0, they make 2 different type of ecu for the pr3. They have the obd0 and the obd1. I would try another vtec ecu, you might have a fry ecu.

most likely wrong or bad ecu. if your make sure you check and see if they actually ran the vtec wires to the soleniod and pressure switch.
