Well got the head on and all the little stuff bolted on. I need to get up early and was starting to get that lag from being tired so I decided it was a good time to stop. Everything is going as I wanted it to with the exception of a scratch in the #3 cylinder. It is perfectly straight and very light and looks like is wa formed when th piston/rod was put in. I have no idea what caused it though. The rings are fine and no gaps were where it is. It is also perpendicular to the skirts so it wast that. My only guess is that some little piece of something happened to somehow get in there and do it. Everything was clean as hell though going in so I have no idea. This is not the first time I have seen this but I am extra paranoid because it is a sleeved block and I dont want any problems. We will see what happens. Hopefuly 100 miles from now I will forget it was even there.

Pictures tomorrow I hope.

Well everything is in and the car is running. I had it running and up to temp for about 20 mins tonight. The car sounds sick, so throaty and ALOT of cam. It wont idle for shit, its gonna take a lot of tuning to get this thing to have some decent manners on the street. I have a feeling it is gonna be totally worth it though. When you blip the throttle it sounds so angry and raspy like it doesnt know what to do with itself. Im gonna clean the garage and start the tuning tomorrow. I hope it all goes well.

Anyways on with pictures.

I now have over 100 miles on the car. There is still quite a bit of blow-by and im not really sure why. We will see if it goes away with time. My old motor had slightly less than this does.

I cant wait to get a vtec ECU so I can rev it out past 7900. The power up top is absolutely sick, even on 12psi it just rages and wants to keep pulling.

Also I love having a suspension and especially an LSD. There is nothing like coming full throttle out of a corner and just getting pulled.

Well the blow-by is now approaching normal levels and the car is getting fast. I did my first highway pulls tonight and it rips hard up top, esp for a moderate tune. I keep forgetting I am only still on 12 psi. I love the new found top end. I can take video of the car but have no way to load it up. I will try to borrow a camera soon. Thanks to al who have supported this build!!

Well I just got back from upping the boost on the car. Even with a VERY safe and conservative tune it is now fast on a whole new level. I have it set for 16 psi on low boost and 20 on high boost and it is incredible. It pulls through 4th (135 mph) like its nothing. The only thing that I now need to do is make an actualy catch can, these do the job for lower boost but now the crank pressure blows all of the oil around and back out of the bottles lol. It completely covers everything around them now. So i have to figure something out for that.

I plan on runnign this tank out and then switching to E85. Then maybe adding in a couple more pounds before the dyno.

Today was like the day of little problems. First I washed the car and noticed small coolant leak, fixed that and drove my sister to her dance class. Then the car was smelling like fuel, got home and foud the number 2 injector pouring out fuel. I had a small leak with it before but it went away, well i pulled the injector and the o-ring was ripped in half. I guess it was messed up when installed and somehow held briefly. After I got done fixing that I noticed a small oil puddle, I was like WTF and check it out. At first I though my oil drain plug wa leaking but upon further review, the is a small pin hole in my oil pan. IDK ho that even happens. So im just gonna roll with it for 100 or so miles till i change the oil and JB weld it then. That should do it but it if doesnt I will pul the pan and weld it.

It has been a frustrating day with the stupid problems, but thats what we all sign up for. I took it out for a bit and did a 1-2-3 pull and it was 100mph like nothing. Makes all the dumb stuff worth it.

I love seein this thing come together. I blew an injector ring off one time. It sucks and the smell is horrible. At least you got most of the problems fixed, that oil pan issue is not really a big deal unless you are droppin a lot of oil.

It lost a quarter of a quart in 12 hours. It will be fixed, not a big deal.

Thanks for the compliments. I love getting replies from my fellow Honda guys.

I hope to have it to the track on Sunday to make some test runs with E85, low boost, and drag radials. I think if I can run 12.5 or faster I will be setup for 11's on slicks and higher boost.

93 octane tune is finished, 20 psi is as high as I want to go on it. I will be switching to E85 within the next hour and spending the day getting the partial throttle perfect and then maybe ome full tonight.

Car now runs on E85, i love that stuff so much. It sends the torque levels wayyy up and gives the motor so much more pep.

I bet the torque feels creamy in that car. I would love to ride in a car pushin that much. How much power did it make? You probably said so but my internet at work blows and it doesnt load half the crap.

Well its been quite a while since an update. Here are some updated pics, made a new 3 inch dp and 4 inch exhaust for the car a few days back and finally got on the dyno. Made 410whp @22psi on leaded 110 and 380whp on 19 psi on 93 octane. Wanted to go further on 110 but the dyno was having issues so we had to call it early.

Anyway, on to some pics.
