hello everyone, I have an obd0 b18a swap in my ed6 & I was wondering how difficult it would be to swap a complete 96+ b18b head on my block. I want to keep it obd0 so I would swap over the distributor & the injectors, but I am unsure if the FITV, IACV or any other sensors will just bolt up to the new IM and head.

I was also a little confused about head gaskets, would I use the gasket for the head or the block? or which head gasket was an oem 2 layer & which was 3 layer.

what about the PCV?

thanks a lot.

why not just use your obd0 manifold? and all the other sensors should be the same. and for the pcv thats on the valve cover you can just plug it and run the pcv thats on the back of your block. and i would match the gasket to the head

You need what ever obd version is on the car distributor, wiring harness, intake manifold. I blocked the catch can on the block and ran the PCV to the head. Mine is obd 1 so I just change the intake manifold to an obd 1 piece and everything bolted right up. But if your harness is obd 0 go with an obd 0 manifold for the least amount of work. And get some obd 0 injectors so the clips work. Unless you want to solder the clips in like I did for my obd 0 -1 change over.
