i have a b18b1 in my hatch. i picked up a b18a1 motor for 50$. i dont wana tear down the motor in my car right now so i was going to have the b18a1 head P&P and just build it so i can drop it on the b18b motor. will i see any issues in doing this? and is it going to be hard to find valve train parts or are the a1 and b1 parts the same (valve springs cams ect.)?

the a1 and b18b use the same motor parts and the swaps are identical...b18a has a little less power thats it

their is a bunch of aftermarket companys that have valve train parts and your tearing the head apart anyway so you wounld not be using the same parts anyway just order parts for the b18a/b it wont matter and yes it will go back on like you take it off
